Eco-friendly and natural – Our wooden wicks are manufactured from 100% natural and organic wood obtained through natural processes. These wooden candle wicks don’t pollute the environment with smoke, and burn cleanly.

YOU CAN ALSO CHOOSE THESE OPTIONAL EXTRAS:

  • a candle-wick trimmer
  • centering wick-holders made of wood or metal
  • cotton wicks, (either pre-cut or as a spool)
  • some extra metal base stands
  • stickers for adhering the base stand to the bottom of your candle mold

Package includes only one of these options:

  • 50 x Wooden Wicks + 50 x Metal Alloy Stands
  • or 100 x Cotton Wicks + 100 x Metal Alloy Stands
  • or a spool of cotton wick
  • or 1 x candle-wick trimmer
  • or 100 x extra metal base stands
  • or 20 x stickers for adhering the base stand to the bottom of your candle mold
  • or 1 x metal centering wick-holder
  • or  50 x wooden centering wick-holders

  • Notes:
Shorten the wick to 1/4 inch (about 4 to 5 mm) away from the surface of the candle so that it will burn better (you could use our candle-wick trimmer).
  • If you choose paraffin wax to make your candle, use 1 wooden wick on 1 metal stand. If you use soy wax or bees wax, use 2 wooden wicks and 2 metal stands close together, because the natural waxes don’t contain any combustion-supporting chemicals. A double-wicked candle will burn more completely, utilizing all of the wax, but keep in mind that the wicks need to be evenly spaced and not too close to the edge of the container.
  • Keep candles and candle-making supplies away from children.
  • Due to the difference in color calibration between different monitors, the picture may not reflect the actual color of the item.
  • Due to manual measurement, please allow 0.1-0.3 cm differences in dimensions.
  • If the wood wick is smoking the candle may be in a draft or the wick might be too long. Move the candle out of the draft, extinguish the flame, let the candle cool down and trim the wick back to 4 mm and remove any excess wick. Candles can also smoke if you’ve added too much fragrance.
  • If your candle is in a container, and you find that the wax is drowning the wick and extinguishing the candle, it could be because the candle hasn’t been burning for long enough for the wax pool to reach the sides of the container. The candle MUST burn until the wax melts to the edge of the container every time it is lit, to ensure the maximum and most effective burn. This can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours generally. The other reason could be that the diameter of the wick is not large enough for the jar or vessel. You may need to increase the size of your wick or decrease the candle’s diameter.
