Description
Natural Mulberry paper is prized for use in collage, painting, scrapbooking, note cards, lamp shades, wedding invitations, fish rubbings, and calligraphy. Tear the edges of Mulberry Paper to get a soft, feathered, deckled edge, creating a perfect accent for projects such as stationery, wedding invitations and scrapbooks. In China it’s also traditionally used for sealing wine jars and as paper strips for moxibustion. The long fibers of mulberry paper give it a soft feel, yet it is more durable than traditional papers. Because mulberry paper has a neutral pH, it makes a wonderful art paper for long-lasting projects.
These unique papers are crafted from the natural bark of the Paper Mulberry Tree, Broussonetia papyrifera. Mulberry papers are known by many names including Kozo, Rice Paper, Hanji, Xuan Paper and Unryu. They are eco-friendly and sustainable.
Please allow 1-3cm tolerance due to manual measurement. Please make sure you do not mind before you buy.
The colors may look different from photo, some lots darker or lighter than picture color. Each paper is unique.
