Description
These pretty little matcha tea whisks, tea spoons and tea scoops are carefully hand-crafted from bamboo. They are made in the traditional Japanese tea ceremony style, for measuring, whisking an stirring matcha tea. The pronged WHISK produces the best crema and froth, effectively whisking up a frothy cup of tea. The SCOOP measures the perfect amount of powder. The SPOON is for stirring your matcha when it settles.
It is said that bamboo differs from the traditional metal whisks that leave you with bitter tasting tea. This bamboo tool set provides tea with a better, more delicious flavor.

ABOUT BAMBOO FIBER:
These brushes are hand-made, generally from Moso bamboo. The moso bamboo species is not part of pandas’ diet, and it can grow fast – up to 1 metre (3 feet) per day. As a bonus, it uses more carbon dioxide and releases more oxygen than any other bamboo species. Moso bamboo does not require any pesticides or fertiliser.
Humans use millions of plastic scrubbing brushes every year, and when we’ve finished with them we throw them away. They end up in the ocean or in landfills, as a source of environmental pollution that threatens our health and the health of the planet. That’s why natural bamboo brushes have the advantage.
Plastic scrubbing brushes can take between 100 and 1,000 years to completely break down. When plastic is immersed in water, it decomposes into smaller pieces of plastic, until they become what we call microplastics, so small as to be almost invisible. Fish and other marine animals must drink this plastic-infused water. They can also easily mistake plastic for food. They may starve to death. If they live, what they eat ends up in their flesh, so that when we eat them, it enters our bodies too. This is how plastic enters our food chain. Plastic can be toxic: it’s not meant to be eaten.
One solution to all this plastic pollution is bamboo. It’s organic, and vegan. Bamboo brushes are now widely available, because they benefit the environment, and therefore your health. Bamboo is naturally antibacterial.
Bamboo is compostable and biodegradable, because it’s completely natural plant material. Unlike plastic, bamboo does not contain potentially dangerous chemicals that can contaminate your body and the environment.
